Do I need a new server?

Yes. For the best experience and security, Serverfy requires a clean install of Ubuntu 22.04 / 24.04 LTS. We install all the necessary software (Nginx, PHP, MySQL, Redis, etc.) for you.

Can I host multiple sites on one server?

Absolutely. You can host as many sites as your server resources (CPU/RAM) can handle. Each site has its own Nginx configuration, SSL certificate, and deployment pipeline.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

Nothing happens to your servers. You retain full root access. Serverfy simply stops managing them and automatic deployments are paused.

Do you support frameworks other than Laravel?

Yes! While we offer a first-class experience for modern PHP applications (Laravel, Symfony), Serverfy fully supports static sites and modern JavaScript frameworks like Next.js, Nuxt, and Node.js environments with zero-downtime deployments.

How does zero downtime deployment work?

Every deploy creates a new release directory, installs dependencies, runs migrations and verifies health checks. Only after everything passes, the symlink swaps to the new release. If anything fails, the previous release remains active.

Is my data on the server safe?

Absolutely. We connect to your servers via SSH with dedicated key pairs. We never store your application data, database content or environment variables on our servers. Your servers are yours — we just help you manage them.

Can I use AI to manage my servers?

Yes! Serverfy has native support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP). Connect Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Desktop, or any MCP-compatible AI agent. Your AI can list servers, trigger deployments, restart services, and check metrics — all through natural language, authenticated securely via API tokens.
